Glenn Jay Kimber Obituary Glenn Jay Kimber, age 83, passed away in Grouse Creek, UT on Friday, January 24, 2026, surrounded by his wife and children, after a 30-year battle with carcinoid cancer.

Glenn was born on Saturday April 4, 1942 in Ogden, Utah, to Lawrence J. Kimber and Nola Richins Kimber. He was raised in Grouse Creek and Brigham City, Utah, and graduated from Davis High School in 1960. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Management from Brigham Young University in 1971, a Doctorate of Humanities from Coral Ridge Baptist Seminary in 1988, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from George Wythe College in 1994.

Between 1961-1963, Glenn served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manchester, England. In 1964, he met Julianne Skousen at Brigham Young University and they were married on March 19, 1965. Together they built a faithful and abundant life centered on their LDS faith. Throughout his life he was a teacher. He taught thousands of people, young and old, about the principles of freedom from the viewpoint of America’s Founding Fathers. He presented seminars, built private schools, and created a unique curriculum for all ages centered on God, Family, and Country.

Glenn is survived by his wife Julianne Skousen Kimber of Grouse Creek, Utah; sisters Norene Kimber Davis (Gordon) of Snohomish, Washington; Janiel Kimber Black of Ogden, Utah; Myrna Kimber Peterson of Stansbury Park, Utah; six of eight children, Candace Kimber Hill (Mike) of Springville, Utah; Jewel Kimber Franklin (Rick) of Grouse Creek, Utah; Clifton Kimber of Cedar City, Utah; Kenneth Kimber (Nicole) of Eagle Mountain, Utah; Douglas Kimber (Lisa) of Cedar City, Utah; and Joy Kimber McClung (Casey) of Draper, Utah; 36 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, Jay Cleon Kimber and Krystal Joy Kimber, grandson Mason Thomas Kimber, his parents Lawrence J Kimber and Nola Richins Kimber, siblings Elva Jane Kimber and Clifton Lawrence Kimber, Berniece Kimber Hansen, Wayne Kimber, and Ivy Kimber Keyes.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 838 East 600 South, Clearfield, Utah, with a viewing Friday night from 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. and Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., at the same location. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Clearfield City Cemetery, Utah.

The family expresses tremendous gratitude to numerous medical staff: Hospice nurses Jamie and Hannah and Chaplain Darrin, as well as Salt Lake VA hospital personnel, Dr. Weis, Dr. Green, Dr. McIntosh and Dr. Dzantars. The family also expresses appreciation to the many branch members, friends, students and their families who have been so attentive and loving at this time. Family members take comfort in the knowledge of the plan of salvation and eternal families.
